2004-08 Maxima Progress Anti-Sway Bar Review
Reviews
Basing our review from a Eibach Sport Spring and Factory Rear Sway Bar, there is a noticeable amount of grip and turn in response from our Project Maxima. Not to mention body roll has been decreased significantly through the torsion factor of the newly installed Progress unit. Installation of this product is possible by average DIY'ers working out of their garage and can be completed in an hours time with moderate tools.

Pros:
Excellent Fit and Finish
Superb Package delivery
Ease of Installation
Superb Customer Service

Cons:

Dissassembly Process:
Wheel/Tires, Endlink, Support Brackets

Start off by positioning the car on level ground and jack up the rear of the vehicle supporting each end with jackstands allowing for work underneathe. Remove both rear wheels and set them aside as they will allow clearance for removal and installation of the new unit. In order to get the Rear sway out we need to detach the end links from both sides using a 14mm socket and 17mm open end wrench to hold the locking nut making sure not to damage the rubber boot. Repeating the same procedure on the other end of the vehicle we finally are left with 4 remaining bolts in the center of the vehicle. Remove the remaining 14mm bolts equally as not to invite tension on the opposite support bracket making it difficult to remove. Once lowered the sway can now be routed through and out either end of the vehicle making sure not to snag any brake lines on the way out. Make note the position the unit was installed as the Progress piece needs to be installed in the same fashion.

Reinstallation Process: Bushing Installation, Reinstall

Now that you have successfully removed the Anti-Sway bar it is time to do some pre-reassembly steps. Place the Progress unit on a flat surface and arrange the new stiffer Polyurethane bushings to be installed on the unit. Generously add lubrication to the inner area of each bushing before installation as this will keep squeaking to a minimum while allowing easier installation. Before installing closely inspect the bushings as they have a slit which opens when pressure is applied and will open over the Sway bar. Each end of the unit has a plate which the bushings need to rest against, install each urethane bushing on the flat end of the mounting plates and reinstall the unit just as you had removed the OEM piece.

Comparison: Handling

From an Initial input of the steering wheel a substantially more planted rear suspension feel is apparent. Lane changes have become more confident as well as long sweeping off/on ramps with uneven pavements. Most prominent is the uneasy wobble from ubrupt lane changes has been successfully replaced with a steady affirmed switch. Overall the driver confidence and ease of install make this product a must have for someone with a need for a performing ride.

Overall
I would imagine with the installation of a beefier Front sway bar and strut tower brace(*hint hint Progress*) this can be a very nice performer in local autox competitions. A+ Progress Auto this product truly works!
