Rear sway bar for 04-05 Maxima

Cattman will have available a rear sway bar that fits BOTH 04 and 05 models. Cattman will have it available about 2-3 weeks for about $150, which includes the bar and urethane bushings. Its a "must have" for any 6th Gen Maxima. It will be the only one that I know of for both the 04 AND the 05 Maxima.

"Stabilizer bars are part of a car's suspension system. They are sometimes also called anti-sway bars or anti-roll bars. Their purpose in life is to try to keep the car's body from "rolling" in a sharp turn." -Howstuffworks.com

Aftermarket sway bars are typically thicker than OEM bars, which resists leaning in turns. Anti-sway bars only take effect when a car changes direction, as in a turn. Often thicker, but in this case, the difference in stiffness results primarily from changing the bar's composition. The diameters of the stock rear anti-sway bars are slightly different on the 04 and 05 Maxima's but both are hollow. The Progress-Cattman bar is 24mm - not that different from the stock diameters - but it is solid steel. Probably adds 4-5 more pounds to the weight of the car, but since its attached to the frame, its not suspended weight either - more than worth it.

Arrival is scheduled to Cattman's warehouse around 18 May.

No reason to wait, and I'll encourage that by offering a 10% discount for early orders (discounted price is $135). Part # is CRSB-G6.

Give us a call to order at 520.730.9309 (Cattman office, 9-6 Pacific Time, M-F) or 800.759.9920 (warehouse and ordering service, 8-5 Pacific Time, M-F). CCs won't be charged until the bars are ready. PayPal is fine too, email me for the payment address.
